We believe in the potential of Layered Process Audits to make factories more fun and less convoluted. We do not believe in investing time on work that is done just for the sake of compliance but is not value-added. We also do not believe in spending 90% of time collecting data during meetings but only 10% on actual brainstorming. We do not believe in a manufacturing culture where the production & technical staff is encouraged to shove problems under the rug under the motto of “do more with less”.
We wanted to make it easy to instill a culture where it is recognized that profits flow from the shop-floor to the top-floor. We believe iAudited enables this. We are not a big corporate that is here to sell you another piece of software that just adds to the amount of work you must do. We are here to sell you an approach that keeps alive the passion of “making” stuff.
Yes! Auditors can upload a document or take a picture and upload it as a part of the audit-finding.
iAudited is designed to be as easy to use as Gmail. However, we do have a lot of useful features and some training can be helpful.
Webinar training: For most organizations, webinar trainings would be more than enough. Webinars are held periodically, so that it is easy for new members of your staff to be trained. All webinars are free!
On-site trainings: Larger organizations may find it easy to conduct trainings at their site. On-site trainings are free for Enterprise version (up to 3 in major cities) and higher. Professional version users can choose on-site training as an add-on.
Training videos: Customers can refer to our training videos at their leisure and they cover almost all functionality. They are free!
iAudited is very stable. Customers typically reach out to us for support only for the first few days of purchase as some features may be new to their organization. Having said that, we provide 24x7 online and on-call support for all users completely free! Issues are typically resolved in less than 6 hours. This is more than enough for almost all organizations.
Larger organizations may opt for a premium version (Enterprise or Higher) with custom support options.
Yes. The pricing for this option is available upon request.
All versions of iAudited offer automatic weekly encrypted backups.
Yes. We follow The Four Laws of Data.
We do not own your data. Uploading content to iAudited does not change that content's ownership or copyright status. We are not in the business of selling your data to 3rd party marketers. We are not a “big data” company and do not try to make money from your content.
iAudited is end-to-end encrypted. This means that data is stored in an encrypted format as well as transferred in and out of the network in an encrypted format. We use military-grade AES-256-bit encryption.
Even though we wish to retain our clients, we still want to make sure that they can leave the service quickly and easily. There is no data lock-in with our Product. We are committed to making it straightforward for you to get all your data into, and out of, the Product at any time.
As a part of the Product configuration options, you may choose the country of data-storage. We will not transfer your data out of that country unless you request us to.
There are two ways to import content into iAudited:
Import in bulk from a spreadsheet: You can upload your content from a spreadsheet (Template available at: https://www.iaudited.com/Import_Template_default.xlsx). You can also upload your media (example images or videos) from a zipped folder.
Enter item by item using the web-app.
Your data belongs to you and your data is portable. As your data is end-to-end encrypted, it is not accessible to anyone at iAudited! Upon request, we will help you export your data in a suitable file format at no extra cost!
The software and cloud infrastructure available to you during your free-trial is the same as the paid-version. As such, you don’t have to repeat the data import process after your free-trial – it’s all seamless! Also, as your data is end-to-end encrypted, it is not accessible to anyone at iAudited!
No. Auditors cannot complete audits assigned to them after the due date. However, the company can opt to allow auditors to complete their assigned audits ahead of schedule. This setting is available at Admin > Global Settings > Allow audit completion in advance.
This setting (for an individual audit) is also available when scheduling a new audit. The individual setting will override the global setting.
Yes, these can be edited upon request. However, we advise editing these categories sparingly so as not to create an unwieldy list of root-causes that does not provide actionable insights. We suggest two guidelines when creating a custom list of root-cause categories:
The categories provide actionable insights.
The list is mutually exclusive (i.e. no overlaps) and collectively exhaustive (i.e. covers everything)
To review an audit-finding, go to Home> Audit Findings. Then hover over a particular audit-finding in the list. The auditor’s name would be displayed next to the mouse-pointer. We have intentionally kept the visibility of auditor’s name discreet. This is to ensure that the focus is on solving an issue and not on who created the audit-finding.
Please go to Home>Reports. Then you have two options:
Using filters: Filter the reports by a particular user.
Using a spreadsheet: Download the spreadsheet version of the report (Download button on the top right). You will get the audit completion rate for all the users in one place under the tab “Audit Completion”
Typically, an auditor’s responsibility is limited to performing the audit and commenting on why he/she believes that a particular audit-question was noted as a failure. That’s it.
Typically, a cross-functional team within the organization meets weekly to go over all the “open” audit-findings and assign root-causes and corrective/preventive actions.
The CFT also reviews the “open” tasks and ensures that teams have the resource to find root-cause and implement countermeasures.
The CFT would also analyze the risk trends and take preventive countermeasures such as read-across, identify problem workstations, identify problem topics (Eg.: Forklift safety) etc.
A user with credentials of a “manager” or higher can change the status of tasks. Also, any member of the team assigned to complete the task can change its status as well (say mark it as closed). However, only “manager” and higher can close the parent audit-finding of the task.
Go to Home>Tasks. On the top of the screen, you will see the filter options. Click “More Filters” to expand the list of available filters. Choose the following filters: Team Member: Your name; Task status: “Open”; Late Task: “Late”. Then click “Apply Filters”. This will display the desired set of tasks.
Go to Home>Audit Findings. On the top of the screen, you will see the filter options. Click “More Filters” to expand the list of available filters. Choose the following filters: Process: Your process name; Status of Audit Findings: “Open”. Then click “Apply Filters”. This will display the desired set of audit findings.
A matrix of the user-roles and the associated privileges is available at Admin > Users. Click the blue info icon next to “Select Role” field. Also, under Admin > Users Roles, hovering over a role-name (E.g.: Standard Auditor) shows you the privileges associated with that role.
An LPA typically lasts for 15 minutes or less. An auditor will have enough time to probably evaluate 5 – 15 audit questions. However, the number of questions available for audit can be much larger say 500.
iAudited lets you specify the number of questions that would need to be answered during any audit instance. For e.g.: let’s say that you have 500 candidate questions in the question library, and you chose a maximum of 10 questions for appearance in any audit instance. In this case, out of the 500 candidate questions, 10 questions will be randomly selected. Care is taken so that the least answered questions have a higher probability of selection in the next audit.
Let’s make things just a bit more complicated. Let’s say out of the 500-candidate question, 20 questions are related to “Safety”. Let’s say that you want every audit instance to have at least a minimum of 2 questions that are “Safety” related. iAudited lets you accomplish this by using question tags. For every audit-card (Collection of question for a particular process), you can specify the minimum number of questions that need to appear for a specific tag such as “Safety”.
